Dried longan are often used in soup and dessert in Taiwan and recently people were crazy for the longan cupcakes just because them thought these cupcakes are much healthier than others.
Anyway, I tried this recipe and it went well with natural sweet of longan. Here just wanted to share with you this chinese loaf.

Ingredients
Butter, for greasing
2 cups bread flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 tablespoon dry active dry yeast
3/4 cup lukewarm water
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup dried longan
1/2 cup yogurt drink
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Directions
1. Grease a pan with a little butter.
2. Strain the flour into a large bowl, and stir in the salt and dried yeast. Pour in the lukewarm water, oil, and honey. Mix together to form a dough.
3. Place the dough on a lightly floured counter and knead for about 5 minutes.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size; meanwhile, cook the longan and yogurt in low heat until longan are soft; remove the soucepan from heat and let cool.
5. Knead in the cooked longan and sesame seeds. Shape the dough and place in the pan.
6. Cover and stand the loaf in a warm place for a further 30 minutes or until springy to the touch.
7. Bake in a prepared oven, 390 degrees F (200 degrees C), for 30 minutes or until a hollow sound is heard when the bottom of the loaf is tapped.
8. Transfer the loaf to a wire rack and let cool completely.
